PI Feed is a real time news hub network for private security sector professionals. PI Feed is not a private investigator blog, magazine, or publication. PI Feed is a news aggregation website that curates articles from different online sources using RSS Feeds and crowdsourcing methods.
The Design
When we first started working on the design for PI Feed, we knew that we wanted to merge the words PI with the RSS icon, we had an idea but not an actual concept in mind. After about 4 weeks of drawing out different logos, designs, concepts, and layouts, we eventually landed on the current logo for PI Feed.
The Website
PI Feed is our own creation. We decided to create PI Feed to help aggregate and collect all the news and articles in one place, the goal was to help private investigators find the information they need, right now. When we designed PI Feed, we wanted the website to be extremely easy to use. We needed the site to be managed from one location and wanted the website to give our visitors the opportunity to embed the stories into their own accounts and websites through iFrames and RSS widgets.
