Get More Leads From Your Website

Private Investigator
Website Design

As the forward facing – front of the house – element of your agency, your website needs to show off your abilities, your experience, and your professionalism. You need to show that you’re trusted. If your visitors can’t trust the front of the house, why should they trust the back of the house?

IT’S YOUR BRAND, PROTECT IT.

Why is a Good Design Important for a Private Investigator Website?

If you’re not investing in your basic public face — front of the house stuff — I don’t see why anybody should trust your back of the house?

Feifer Quote on Pursuit Magazine

Your website is first experience your clients will have with your agency. It plays a critical role in the performance and growth of your business. We combine compelling creative and clean development to build websites that create emotional connections to build trust and produce results.

If you work from home, a virtual office, or have a remote office without direct traffic sources your website becomes your primary business front. You need to invest in the only visible part of your company.

You don’t need a website with all the bells and whistles. What you need is a website that helps educate your consumers while they’re doing research. An effective private investigator website design helps educate your visitors about your agency, the services you offer, your brand identity, and your agency’s value proposition.

THE BUILD-OUT PROCESS

What goes into building
a Private Investigator Website?

We have a 4 stage web design process – Discovery, Design, Development, and Launch. Every website we build, comes from a mobile first mentality. We create simple, and engaging experiences for all users on any device. We commercially license all images, videos, scripts, and elements – to protect your company, and to protect your brand.

STAGE 1

Agency Discovery & Website Strategy

Before we build a website, we need to understand how it will factor into the day-to-day operations of your agency. Simply having a website – for the hell of it – is not good enough. Websites work, when you put them to work. They waste your money, when you just want to have a web presence.

Questions you may want to ask yourself: Are you going to write blogs? Are you going to advertise on Google Ads? Are you going to use it for SEO? Your website works when it meets your needs – the first step is to figure out why you need a new one.

STAGE TWO

Website Mock-up & Design

The purpose of the mock-up is to give you an idea of what your website could look like when it’s complete. This process helps us refine your website idea prior to fully developing the site – we incorporate your brand elements, your images, and your logo into the mock-up to see how it’s going to look.

Think of this as a rough draft of your website. Once we have a design laid out, our team will work on a live version of your website to bring it to life.

STAGE THREE

Website Development

Once we agree on the design direction, we’ll start the development of your website under a temporary domain. This will keep us from having to bring down your current site – minimizing your downtime and loss of possible business.

STAGE FOUR

Final Approval, Transfer, and Launch

Once you have approved the final website, we handle the migration and transfer your website to the final hosting account, conduct a final quality assurance check to ensure the links and images transferred correctly, and open your website to the public.

SO WHAT’S GOOD ANYWAY?

What’s an Effective
Private Investigator Website Design?

To put it simple: If your website is generating sales, you have a good website – assuming you’re generating enough sales. To do this, your website needs to educate your visitor about what you do, how you do it, and why you’re better than private investigators in your area. It needs to build trust and do two things: Explain why you’re here, and sell your services.

WHY ARE YOU HERE?

Your PI Website Needs to Answer Questions

More often than not, people don’t understand what we do in the Private Investigations industry. Read this article from Diligentia Group – I’m a recovering private investigator.

Because people don’t know what we do – your website needs to do a good job at explaining: What you do. Why you do it. How you do it. When you do it. Where you do it.

SELL YOUR SERVICES

Your Site is a 24/7 Sales Person – Put it to Work

Your website needs to be able to generate leads. Think of your website as a 24/7 sales person who’s sole purpose is to sell your services. You need to put it to work.

This is done by having a solid site that convinces people to perform an action – Call, Email, or Request a Consultation.
